Lesson 15 Arabic from the Beginning

Lesson 15 Arabic from the Beginning

This is the fifteenth session of an eighteen-lesson course for absolute beginners wishing to learn Arabic. In this lesson, you will gain additional practice in reading sentences containing sun and moon letter words defined by ‘al’, working from page 70 to the end of the book, in order to improve your fluency. Now that you have covered all the skills necessary to be able to read and write the Arabic script, from this lesson onwards we will be revisiting all the conversational words and phrases you have previously been taught using Latin transcription, so that you can read and learn them in their proper Arabic form. These include greetings, asking someone what their name is, and replying appropriately.

The course as a whole is based on the book ‘Arabic from the Beginning: Part One’ by Dr. Imran Hamza Alawiye, which is available from the publisher’s website: www.gatewaytoarabic.com. The course teaches everything you need to know to read and write the Arabic script, as well as useful Arabic phrases.
